For my canada GC i calibrated my camera, took pictures of 3 of us with my 3 mega-pixel camera, and printed at walmart on 4x6 then cut 27 X 27mm, and it worked, i have canada GC. just make sure front face, white b/g, enough brightness. i would not risk it for my US GC though.

My I-485 got transferred to TSC from VSC.
Got soft LUD on approved I-140 on 11/04

Would appreciate if some one can guide me in this situation.
Filed 485 on 11th aug but as fedex packet was not traceable I had to file again on 16th of August.
Now I received the receipts for the one which was filed first time.
How do I stop the 2nd application.What will happen If I do a stop payment on the 2nd one.
Will it affect my GC processing fot the application filed first time.
What is the best option I have without getting into some issue.

Folks,
NSC and TSC are still processing the mid june filers cases. Please see the below link. They are slow in issuing receipts. The date you are seeing is notice dates. The receipt date are june or prior to that.

I'm not sure what made you decide for CP. There maybe valid reasons or you maybe misguided.
I have heard some people use the CP route thinking that once the dates get current, they will get Green Card faster than AOS route. Some people use it as a back-up. But I am not sure what made you opt for this if you knew you will deny yourself EAD and AP benefits.

Yeah.. I was going for that sort of effect (being a big fan of "Indiana Jones" movies, and "Big trouble in Little China"; and having more than a passing interest in Egyptology). What if USCIS had not screwed up by using all "C"s in July bulletin? You would not have even filed AOS !! Think positively. And don't show even a sign that you are waiting for 180 days; just count them inside. Until then your sponsor can pull the plug anytime by revolking your I-140, and if that happens, you are back to square one.

Planning to use AC21 Portability and work on EAD.
If the EAD reneval is applied and If it gets expired before we get the new EAD, can I work by having the EAD reneval receipt notice with out affecting the employment.

My new empolyer has filed h1b transfer for me using premium processing. The package was delivered to USCIS last Monday. Because my employer's email address is too long, the last 2 letters of the email address "om" (should be ".com") are missing in the printout. I found this after the package was sent out. We have not heard anything till today (7 calender days after the last Monday). Is this normal?

USPS has a system of mail-forwarding. After leaving your old-address, if you notify USPS, USPS will continue to forward all your first class mails to your new address specified by you. You can do it Online @ usps.com... I guess they charge $1 for verifying your address from the CC address, if you do it online(which I did).
So, NO, your mails will not be lost!

See guys, My original LC was approved with PD of 2003 from this same company but I-140 was denied due to A2p and now is in appeal. This lc sub is from other worker with lower salary and he left the company 3 yrs ago and I am still working here. It's not like a desi consultancy where they sell approved labor, hold your h1 so you can't transfer your h1, get pay cut and put innocent people's status in jeopardy and create problem for everyone else who want to do LC sub in a honest way. It's a genuine LC substitution and I want to do it as long as the law allow me to do that.
I am also fraustrated with USCIS messed up policy of doing whatever they want and hopefully something will work out for all of us in good way!

I checked online for my daughter's 485 and it shows approved and document(possibly GC):eek: mailed on 12 Jan. But my status shows RFE stage. Another interesting thing is my daughter got fingerprinting for Jan 15. She has already done fingerprinting with us in Dec 07. Even if it was to be approved for my daughter how it can happen that she goes for FP on 15 Jan and they mailed document. I dont know what is going on. Any suggestions?

Having said that, for some cases it is not unusual to receive a fingerprinting notice after I-485 approval. In such cases, though I-485 is approved and approval notice is sent, the physical card is not produced until the applicant completes the fingerprinting formalities. In your case, in my view, the online case status just refers to finger printing notice. But who knows, its USCIS and anything is possible.

nlssubbu, its amazing that you still check IV and answer other's questions. I got my first AP and i travelled once and after coming back renewned my H1B and now i am thinking of applying for AP renewal. Can you please tell me if I can travel while the AP renewal application pending? The instructions in I-131 form says, the application will be abondoned if the person leaves the country after filing I-131.

since this i believe is just a test shot i think most of what j said is spot on probably easier to just use a fill flash the 550 digital flash by cannon works great for that outside when you have shadows. in the future i would try composing with your subject off center some or filling the frame more to instead of hide her facial imperfections bring them out in high detail older people are far more interesting when you can see the wrinkles and imperfections of course these are all just my oppinions
