I believe, as scripture details, that God established a covenant with Abraham and from this covenant the Jewish nation was born.
So the all-powerful super-being took a particular interest in Abraham's plight and no other (we could in theory suggest that the deity might have tried with others but Abraham was his first real success, which would neither improve nor detract from the story). Thereafter, the lives and fates of he and his children were bound to the deity, which bestowed upon them boons and miseries, as it saw fit.
Yet Mighty Yggdrasil, the Songlines, Sun Wukong, Tyhee Saghalie, etc, these are more absurd than the concept of an exclusive god? You earlier put forth that unbelievers cannot do good that is not vain or self glorifying: the history of your religion (by the approved texts) shows that you do have an intimate understanding of what those terms mean.

Like a lot of people, my serial (3K437...) falls in the stated range for 12" PBs, but the Apple site says it's not valid/doesn't qualify. It was doing that this morning when the story very first broke (long before the site went down or even got slow), and it's still doing it now. The battery has been going fine for almost 2 years, and I don't expect to explode tomorrow, but it would be nice to get a new one.

So, enough with this buy American or MADE IN USA stuff. It's all about money and that will be made wherever it's FREE from too many taxes, restrictions and regulations.

And the worst is that one about not being able to use slaves. And having to pay for medical costs it someone is injured. So his hand got smashed in a machine, why can't I just fire him for it?

I don't use the iStat widget, I use the intel core duo temp widget. Since I installed the firmware update last night, it doesn't seem to work anymore. Odd.

Um free is for a limited time only and you have to buy a $1000+ computer. Anyone who buys a $1000+ Mac should get a break on an iPod too. Also, I'm not complaining about the free iPod deal, I'm complaining that students used to get about a $30 break on all iPods year round. There is a reason why there is a whole education section on the Apple Online Store. Without students support, the iPod wouldn't be anywhere near the cultural icon that it is. Guess what, most students don't have a set income but their patronage is very important to Apple and iPods in general. And I'm 25, Mommy and Daddy haven't payed for me for a long time. Obama jumped in head first without even thinking or engaging in any dialog. On top of that, it's a slap in the face to the American people, as he didn't even bother to give a speech and present his case, explain what he planned to do. Bush at least had the decency to do that.
It's being led by NATO and the US is not committing ground troops.

Excellent news, glad to see Apple isn't too far behind the times, nor were they going to do something silly like make us wait for Santa Rosa in the MBPs before updating the MacBook line. ;)
My wife will be thrilled, she's been holding off a purchase until the MacBook line got upgraded. Now that they will be out we can test drive one, make sure it meets her needs and we'll have a nice addition to our family. ;) :cool:

There are people studying his typography....etc. For example, there is a study about the color of the ink he used at the beginning of his Leipzig period. They found a relationship of patterns of writing and the color of the ink according to his age. That's is one of the thousands ways they have tried to find out the date of a single piece. There a lot people who devote their lives to perform or/and study his music.

(ahem) There IS a difference. Photoshop is far more advanced that Pixelmator for P-R-O-F-E-S-S-I-O-N-A-L work. It has a deeper set of tools and features available.
And some of them even work properly :-)

I�m loving the iPhone 4 camera, and improving further is great... except for megapixels! High MP is a marketing bullet point that wastes storage space for most purposes (and increases noise, even if the image is later scaled smaller).
I�d like to see the spec wars peter out at 5 MP, but I guess it�s not to be...

So users on the subscription model get updated to the next version as part of their subscription? So if I purchase a subscription for a year of 5.5. and CS6 comes out in june, then for no extra cost I'm able to upgrade to CS6?
Unless I've missed something, which is entirely possible, the subscription model seems to be based around temporary folks or how often the packs will be upgraded.
I mean I have 3 macs with design premium CS4. Upgrading the 5.5 would cost $1,947 out right. But if I subscribe for $95/month * 3 macs, then that's $3,420 after one year.
However if I go the non-subscription route, and CS6 comes out in less than a year from the time I would have subscribed, it's the same $649/upgrade cost, and I purchase it....then subscribing would have been cheaper by about $470. But that seems like a lot of assumptions.
